PALLET RACKS IN FL

SELECTIVE PALLET RACKS

Pallet racking consists of a set of upright frames connected by horizontal beams to provide storage for the palletized or non-palletized products depending on the rack configuration and beam supports used.

Selective pallet racking is the most commonly used pallet racking system. These systems are called “selective” because they allow users to select any pallet load from the pallet racking system without moving any other pallets.

Single deep also offers access to every location giving users flexibility in product storage and retrieval.

Though single deep is flexible and at a low cost, it comes at the cost of space utilization.

It is best used when:

  • 100% access is required or desired

  • Large numbers of SKU’s are handled relative to total storage

  • Access trumps cube utilization

CANTILEVER RACK SYSTEM

Cantilever racks (also called lumber racks or pipe racks) are robust heavy-duty storage shelving systems.

They are specifically designed for storing long and bulky items or materials such as lumber, plywood, PVC, steel pipe and metal or bar stock pipes, and more.

Cantilever racks create unobstructed access throughout the shelf level length, making it suitable for longer dimensional products, such as Carpet, Lumber, Furniture, Bar/Plate stock, and Pipe.

You can multiply your vertical storage capacity with an I-beam cantilever rack system. By expanding your vertical storage space, you can maximize your facility's material storage capabilities. In addition, you can extend your storage capacity without using any additional floor space.

DRIVE-IN / DRIVE-THRU RACK SYSTEM

Drive-in pallet rack is a high-density storage system used in warehouses to store pallets on a first in/last out (FILO) basis. Pallets are loaded and retrieved from the front side of the rack, and forklift trucks drive directly into the rack's bays to get to the stored product. The last pallet loaded becomes the first pallet accessible, creating a more dense and uniform load in a confined storage area.

Drive-through racking works similarly but stores pallets on a first-in/first-out (FIFO) basis. Pallets are loaded on one side of the rack and retrieved from the opposite side.

BULK RACK SHELVING SYSTEM

Bulk Rack shelving features roomy shelving with high clearance for large items. No back braces allow front and back loading of shelving while side sway braces maintain a rigid structure. Choose from 3 different decking options for ideal storage capacity. Buy bulk rack shelving in starters and adders for efficient pricing.

H-POST SHELVING SYSTEM

H-Post shelving systems provide increased structural integrity, which is ideal for multi-level and hi-rise units.

From simple, single-level systems to multi-level and high-rise systems designed to maximize storage space, Hallowell shelving can be individually tailored to meet your needs specific storage requirements. Our Hi-Tech shelving is the backbone of many such systems nationwide. Contact us to discuss your next shelving system.
